While certain trends come and go, style is forever, and these celebs have definitely taken that idea to heart. Red carpet might not always be as glamorous as they appear (crowded spaces in a loud, chaotic area), but these stars sure know how to work the red carpet!
For Teen’s year-end round up, we put together a list (in no particular order) of the 12 ladies we think have the best Hollywood style. And though it was hard to pick, we chose what we believe are three of their best ensembles.
Scroll down to see our picks!
Ariana Grande
The Sam & Cat star has a feminine style and loves to show it off. Whether she’s in a mini showing off her legs (like at the Kids’ Choice Awards in March), or going for a more elegant look (like at the Breaking Dawn — Part 2 premiere in November), Ariana certainly knows what looks good on her!
Bella Thorne
Even though Bella is only 15 years old, she’s a red carpet pro! When it comes to styles and colors, Bella isn’t afraid to mix it up — although she does love a short party dress. Another thing we love about Bella is that her hair and make up is always evolving. Gotta love someone who can go change their hair from light to dark in the blink of an eye!
Blake Lively
Blake is the epitome of Hollywood glamour. It’s not enough that she got to wear fun fashions for six season of Gossip Girl, but she also gets to rock the most elegant clothes on the red carpet, too. And it definitely doesn’t suck that she has been the muse for shoe legend Christian Louboutin!
Emma Stone
Emma has a fun, flirty style that feels like it’s just the right amount of glam and casual. Also, Emma is no stranger to fashion risks — just look at that amazing pant suit! We also love that Emma doesn’t have to show a lot of skin to looks desirable. She looks just as good covered up!
Emma Watson
Emma has slowly but surely transformed into a fashion maven. While she walked red carpet in cute (and age appropriate) frocks during her Harry Potter days, Emma has officially grown up, and we’re loving her sophisticated look!
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer’s first big “wow” fashion moment was when she wore a stunning red gown to the 2011′ Oscars, and she hasn’t stopped “wow”-ing us since! With an amazing, curvaceous bod, Jen looks fabulous in whatever she looks. She definitely makes rocking high-end fashions look easy!
Kristen Stewart
Kristen is somewhat of a reluctant fashionista, — she loves her Converse and t-shirts! — but when she does dress up for a red carpet, she always stuns. This was a big year of lace, and sheer for Kristen, as she wore sheer to two of her biggest premieres: Snow White and the Huntsman back in May, and a nude, lace gown to Breaking Dawn — Part 2 back in November. Although, our fave look might have to be her red-hot gown during the Cannes Film Festival.
Lea Michele
Even though Lea’s character on Glee might not have the best sense of style, Lea is the complete opposite! Lea loves to show skin, but the way she does, doesn’t make it feel like too much. Lea certainly adds a touch of femininity to whatever she wears — not to mention her hair and make up always look fantastic!
Nina Dobrev
All hail Nina! Seriously, we don’t know how she does it, but every time this girl walks on a red carpet, jaws hit the floor. Just look at her gown from the Met Gala (middle pic) back in May! It just doesn’t get much more stunning than that.
Selena Gomez
Selena has made a flawless transition from teen to young woman, and her style is a big part of that. Selena never looks too young, or too old, when she hits the red carpet. She knows just how much skin to show, and what ensembles look best for her shape.
The Pretty Little Liars Girls
OK, so we’re kind of cheating with this one, but they all seriously have such great style we couldn’t pick just one! Not only do Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell look flawless on their ABC Family show, the ladies know how to dress IRL, too.
Taylor Swift
Taylor’s style screams feminine, and we mean that in the best way possible! Though she doesn’t take too many risks, she knows what works for her, and we applaud her for that. She’s best known for her sparkly gowns, but 2012 was a year of evolution for her, as she rocked lace, tight, form-fitting dresses, and much more. Way to go, Taylor!
